We’re heading back to Denerau today, for Karen and David to get their flight home tomorrow. We’re going to miss their company, they’ve been lovely guests. Although they’ll both be happy to be going home I’m sure; we’ve had a couple of restless, uncomfortable nights, with Daisy rocking and rolling to the extent where we had to cling on to stop ourselves falling out of bed. We tried moving to a different bay following two very uncomfortable nights, only to find ourselves in yet another rolly bay, and a completely sleepless night. We were all so happy to get back to the tranquility of Musket Cove.
Three attempts at catching a fish while we were sailing this week saw only seaweed on the hook, then today after we picked up our other crew member Tony, he reeled in a beautiful Spanish Mackerel or Wahoo, “4th time lucky”.
Happily back at Musket Cove, we all went ashore and Tony filleted and cooked the fish on the resorts barbecue, I made a spicy Asian marinade and coleslaw and the resort provided the fries.
Fresh Fish & Chips for supper, Yum
